North of Ibiza: beautiful nature and two interesting hippy markets

There is a lot to discover for property owners and holidaymakers in the north of Ibiza, as this part of the island has a unique landscape with some of Ibiza's most beautiful beaches, such as Aguas Blancas, Cala Xarraca and Benirras beach, where you can enjoy breathtaking sunsets after moving into your dream property.

If you love horses and want to explore the beauty of the north from a different perspective, you should visit the Ibiza Horse Valley equestrian centre near the village of Sant Joan. The horses that live here have been rescued from mistreatment, and the tours that the horse centre offers its visitors are suitable for both beginners and experienced riders.

After buying your new home with real estate agent Engel & Völkers, you can visit two of the best hippy markets on the island not far from your new property and enjoy the special Ibiza flair, which is unique and conveys an attitude to life and a zest for life that is second to none. In San Carlos you can visit the famous hippy market Las Dalias and in Es Canar Punta Arabí and forget about time and everyday life while browsing through the offerings, which range from jewellery and souvenirs to clothing.

Santa Eulalia impresses property buyers with a wide range of leisure activities

Santa Eulalia, the third-largest town on the island, is located in the north part of the island and is also known by its Catalan name Santa Eulària. A special feature of the town is the interesting mix of year-round residents of Spanish and international origin and holidaymakers. The proportion of non-Spanish property owners in Santa Eulalia is comparatively high at over 25% and is rising steadily. Most of the town's foreign residents come from Western Europe, predominantly from Germany and the UK.

There are 2 main streets in the town, the main street Calle San Jaime and Calle San Vicente, with numerous restaurants, cafés and some nice bars where you can enjoy your dinner in a cheerful atmosphere and end the day perfectly. In addition to the various shops and boutiques, you will also find interesting art galleries in Santa Eulalia, where you can buy works by world-famous artists and immerse yourself in the Ibizan art scene.

Those seeking peace and water sports enthusiasts will also get their money's worth in Santa Eulalia. There are beautiful sandy beaches, an approximately 2-kilometre-long beach promenade and an exclusive marina. An interesting sight in the region is the church Puig de Missa from the 16th century, which is located on the top of the hill and offers a breathtaking view of the municipality of Santa Eulalia and the surrounding area. Finally, you will find many hotels as well as impressive properties for sale, from beautiful flats to exclusive villas.
